“Access to quality training is a significant barrier for displaced people, and we’re excited to partner with TalentLift to help dismantle those barriers,” said Marcello Bonatto, Co-Founder of Re:Coded. “Together, we can provide opportunities that not only allow individuals affected by displacement to rebuild their lives but also thrive in the global workforce.”
As part of this partnership, members of the TalentLift community will receive free access to Re:Coded’s Skill:Up Catalogue, featuring 21 self-paced courses across five key learning tracks: Workplace Skills, Freelancing, Job Search, UX/UI Design, and Software Development. This flexible curriculum allows participants to choose individual courses or complete entire learning tracks based on their career aspirations.
This collaboration addresses a critical challenge faced by displaced individuals: access to quality education that can lead to meaningful, long-term employment. While the job market is evolving rapidly, many talented individuals affected by displacement lack the resources necessary to acquire the skills needed for in-demand roles. By providing free, accessible training, Re:Coded and TalentLift aim to bridge this gap and create more pathways for refugees to enter various professional fields.
“We’re offering a pathway for displaced talent to gain essential skills for success in the modern workforce,” Bonatto added. “By partnering with TalentLift, we can ensure that more individuals, especially those historically underrepresented in the labor market, have access to the tools and training they need to excel.”
TalentLift connects talented people living as refugees with employers in Canada, assisting them in securing jobs and skilled visas. Through this partnership with Re:Coded, TalentLift can now offer valuable upskilling opportunities to the community of more than 25,000 people in refugee situations who have registered on the TalentLift talent platform, enabling more individuals to compete for high-growth employment as a pathway to a secure future.
This collaboration underscores both organizations’ commitment to supporting displaced talent and helping them rebuild their lives through meaningful employment. Together, Re:Coded and TalentLift aim to provide the resources and opportunities that will empower displaced individuals to thrive in today’s economy.
