Re:Coded is thrilled to announce its partnership with the London Digital Jobs and Skills Hub, a pioneering initiative funded by the Mayor of London as part of the Mayor’s Academies programme. This collaboration aims to empower unemployed and underemployed Londoners with the skills and training necessary for successful careers in the tech and digital industries.
The London Digital Jobs and Skills Hub is dedicated to increasing the number of Londoners in above-minimum wage jobs while enhancing diversity within the digital and tech sectors. The Hub is designed to assist individuals who are currently out of work or in unstable employment, such as those on zero-hours contracts. By building confidence and raising aspirations, the Hub showcases non-traditional pathways into rewarding careers, including roles in software development, digital marketing, UX/UI design, and more.
Through this partnership, Re:Coded will contribute to the Hub’s mission by offering free access to it’s Skill:Up courses, equipping participants with in-demand skills that align with the needs of the evolving job market. The Hub will also provide invaluable resources such as in-person events, newsletters filled with advice and opportunities, and online workshops designed to educate and inspire Londoners.
“We are proud to be part of the London Digital Jobs and Skills Hub,” said Alexandra Clare, CEO of Re:Coded. “Our mission aligns perfectly with the Hub’s objectives, as we strive to provide accessible education and training to underserved communities. Together, we can help more Londoners navigate their way to fulfilling careers in the tech industry.”
