We did a quick round of questions with our current React alum, Ahmad Saman, from Iraq.

What was your main motivation to apply?

My first motivation for applying was the quality of the course. I knew that the knowledge I'm getting from this bootcamp, I would never get anywhere else. Re:Coded showed me that if I keep believing in myself, I can do anything that I want. And here I am - a part of this beautiful community. So keep the motivation high and do your best.

What has been the most important thing you have learned in this bootcamp?

There have been many significant things. For me learning React was not even the most important thing I got from this bootcamp.

What is the point of learning React if you don't know how to work with a group, don't know how to communicate with others, or how to make others comfortable at work?

There are a lot of other things that developers have to be good at to be good developers - not just the technical skills. That's why the most significant things I gained from this bootcamp were teamwork, communication, speaking skills, providing a comfortable environment for others, time management, and a lot of other things that Re:Coded is all about.

How has the culture and community in the classroom been for you?

The culture and community in this bootcamp is really a different experience. It makes you give your best, ask as many questions as possible, try more to learn, try to help others, and make others feel comfortable. All because of the teachers who try their best to create a good environment for learning in the classrooms, and the program coordinators who were always willing to help.

How do you feel about your future in the tech industry?

I feel good! The knowledge I gained from this bootcamp will change my career for the better. So far I see the result of this bootcamp when I see the jobs and opportunities in this field. I'm sure I can apply and be good at it, so I can't wait to finish this bootcamp and do my best in this industry with all the skills that I gained.

what advice would you give to those following your footsteps?

Just apply, if you are someone who is trying to find a place in the tech industry, Re:Coded is the one to help you find one. Re:Coded not only shows you some new technologies and gives you some skills. They show you the best version of yourself and give you the keys to succeed.
